# Global Citizen Commitment

**Welcome to the Global Speak!**
Your portal to a **world beyond borders**, where you will connect with other learners from around the world to **ACTIVATE** and **LIVE** your English!

At RealLife, **our mission is to connect 100 million Global Citizens** by 2030, fostering a world beyond borders where everyone can live their English in RealLife.

A Global Citizen sees beyond race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and politics, recognizing our shared humanity. This Global Consciousness is essential but scarce.

As nearly half the world comes online in the next 7 years, the need for confident English speakers and Global Citizens will grow. By helping insecure learners become confident speakers, we also **promote self-development and Global Consciousness**, **building a truly borderless world**.

*Why do we ask our learners to commit to the terms below?*

***By following the rules***, you create harmony, empathy, and connection - the keys to having great and meaningful conversations that will propel your English to the next level.

👍 __What to do__: 

✅ Greet your partner
✅ Be supportive despite any cultural and level differences
✅ Be respectful, kind, patient
✅ Talk about interesting topics for both (trips, hobbies, learning process, goals, dreams, etc). Still in doubt? Tap the💡 to get suggestions!
✅ Thank your partner for their time.

👎 __What NOT to do__: 

🚫 Do not hang up or stay silent
🚫 Do not insist your partner open the camera (the app offers the options on and off)
🚫 Do not ask for private information (phone number, link to social media, or other)
🚫 Do not flirt or use romantic words (this is not a dating app)
🚫 Do not talk about religion, politics, marital status, sex (these are polemic topics, and people may feel uncomfortable)
🚫 Do not say bad words or slang (people may feel offended)
