I am having problems to create an account or signing in
Cases, where our learners can’t login, are often related to the location that you are connecting from. It’s rare, but when it does happen, there’s a good chance it’s servers blocking connections based on location, such as:
You live in a country (China, Iran) that is blocking our servers (or vice versa)
You are connecting from a place that has stronger firewalls that restrict access (like a government building, university, or some companies)
Some internet providers block certain servers
You may be facing connection instability
If you don’t live in a country that might cause this, you may also try a different wifi internet connection (or switching to your phone’s data connection). Also, using a VPN will usually fix it, if this VPN allows our servers.
VPNs are Virtual Private Networks. They allow you to connect to the internet and change your location, and even sometimes to be more secure in your browsing.
If VPNs are new to you, it would be a good idea to research what it is so you understand better and know what the pros and cons are. Here’s an article that might help.
Hola is one of the top free VPNs, but keep in mind that the sacrifice you make for free VPNs is that they track your data usage - we recommend you check more details on their website). Another free VPN-like service that has worked for our users is Psiphon. (No options suggested here are sponsored in any ways.)
If none of the thigs above help you, please write us at appfeedback@reallifeglobal.com so we can investigate it further.
